Muzaffarabad is the capital city of beautiful mesmerizing Azad Jammu Kashmir. And it is on the number of 60th as the largest city of Pakistan. It is present near Neelum and Jhelum River. Since it is one of the northern areas of Pakistan, Muzaffarabad’s weather was influenced by many factors.
The district is further divided into two tehsils. These are Muzaffarabad and Pattika (Naseerabad). These tehsils have further 25 union councils.
The significant city was near the epicenter and badly influenced by the 8 October 2005 earthquake. The 7.6 magnitude earthquake demolished 70% of buildings and killed up to 100,000 residential people.

Average Temperature and precipitation

In this area, the climate is usually partly cloudy most of the time. So a less than 20% of cloud cover days are mostly sunny. It includes the 20-80% cloud cover and more than 80% overcast.
Therefore, the mostly cloudy days are present in Reykjavik in Iceland. And, the sunniest place on Earth is Sossusvlei in the Namib desert.
On the other hand, the precipitation factor is up to 2 in tropical climates. It includes Malaysia and Indonesia.
Maximum Temperatures

Precipitation amounts in Muzaffarabad weather
In the district, there are several changes in the amount of precipitation throughout the year. For instance, in January, the precip is less than 100 and, there are 15 dry days.
Therefore, the snowy days are in January, February, and in December only.
Wind speed
In the starting days of the month, the wind speed remains higher than 28. However, it starts to slow down gradually towards the end of the month.
Therefore, in Tibetan Plateau, there is a very strong wind speed during the start and end of the year. And the wind remains calm during the center of the year.
Wind rose
The units of wind rose usually tell about the number of hours the wind rose from the indicated direction per year. In Azad Kashmir, the wind rose matches the climate of South America.
Therefore, the units show in SW means the wind blows from the South-west (SW) to northeast (NE). In mountainous regions, the wind speed is strong enough to create difficulty for sailing boats.
